I put some in the middle and the corners of the lid. Put the glue on the parts of the lid that are the highest points of contact. I used E6000 because that’s what I had at home. Use the strongest glue possible because you don’t want it to come off. Step 3: Glue your LEGO Board to the top of the container. Step 2: Fill your container with LEGO or its inexpensive cousin BLOCK TECH.
#GOOGLE PLUS CREATIVE KIT LINK MANUAL#
Perfect for making this Travel LEGO Kit! Plus if you lose a piece it won’t be detrimental to find it to build your instruction manual creations! The Dollar Tree where I live has these square boards and bags of colour coordinated blocks. Step 1: Gather supplies! So LEGO is EXPENSIVE!!! There are now a few brands of other building blocks that are completely compatible with LEGO but are called something else such as “BLOCK TECH.” BLOCK TECH can be found very inexpensive at most Dollar stores and Wal-Mart. Square LEGO Board that is that a bit smaller than the square container (I got these ones from the Dollar Tree).Square Sandwich Container (I got these from Dollarama). So I decided to make the kiddo his own Travel Lego Kit! oh and Ivy too… And then one for every kid that was coming to Corbin’s LEGO Birthday Party as party favors! They were a hit, and so easy to put together… you can make them too! Then it gets lost… or worse… Stepped on!! OOWWW!! I thought why not give into his enjoyment and find a way to bring a little LEGO with us when we are driving in the car, waiting for appointments, do boring non kid things… Lol. Let us know what else you’d use this new feature for.So you have a kid who is obsessed with LEGO too?!?! I hear ya! Corbin sneaks little bits of Lego into his pockets and snack bag before we leave the house, so that he can play with it when we are out and about. Ok, so I agree, this is just one scenario for use of the Place and Link Story feature in CS5.5.
#GOOGLE PLUS CREATIVE KIT LINK UPDATE#

Just like we do with linked graphics, updating the modified link, will automatically update all of the linked stories. Editing the original (parent) text, results in a modified link warning in the Links panel. I’ve just applied a ‘mini-shear’ :)Īlright, so why the Place and Linked Story? Well… imagine this being some sort of master head design for which the text regularly changes. If you want to go a little crazy add a transformation to the frame as well.

A Google+ ( Google Plus, néha rövidítve G+) a Google Inc. Start by creating a text frame and set some text. A Wikimédia Commons tartalmaz Google+ témájú médiaállományokat. The visual result of this trick’s is really nothing new, but by using InDesign CS5.5’s new “Place and Link Story” feature, updating text becomes just that little easier and you can work with the source text on the page, without the need to look at using things like Text Variables, which only work on ‘single’-line text, as they behave as a single character. Although the original video - which includes my “high school level” spoken French message - will be posted on their facebook page as well, I thought I’d share the tip with the rest of the world as well as it uses a new InDesign CS5.5 feature in a creative way… :) In honor of this IDUG birthday Chapter Representatives were asked to submit a short video to the group containing a small tip or trick. The Montréal InDesign User Group turned one today.
